Terms of service
These terms are a contract between you (a Member) and Sommet Paros/Antiparos Single Member P.C. (Μονοπρόσωπη Ι.Κ.Ε.), a private company incorporated in Greece with its registered office at Tepeleniou 23, 16673 Voula, Attica, Greece, registered in the General Commercial Registry (GEMI) under number 194942201000, tax number (AFM) 803341350, EU VAT identifier EL803341350 (Sommet, we, us). We may assign these terms to another Sommet group company, on notice to you and without reducing your rights. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read the section on what Sommet is and is not, as it decides who is responsible for the services you book.
What Sommet is, and what it is not
Sommet operates an app and website (the Platform) through which you can discover, request and pay for services offered by independent local businesses (Vendors): restaurants, transfer operators, boat charters, wellness providers and similar categories as we add them.
Sommet is a disclosed intermediary. We are not the supplier of any Vendor's service. Every booking you make is a separate contract directly between you and the named Vendor. The Vendor is the principal and the merchant of record for that booking, which means the Vendor's business, not Sommet's, is responsible for the meal, the journey, the charter or the treatment.
We never sell an inclusive price across more than one Vendor. Each booking is priced, confirmed and paid for on its own, and nothing on the Platform should be read as offering a combined package. Your accommodation is always your own separate arrangement with the property and is never booked, priced or paid for through Sommet. Where our concierge assists you in arranging a booking, the concierge is our staff facilitating the introduction, not the Vendor and not a travel organiser.
Membership
Sommet has three membership tiers: Silver, Gold and The Clef. Everyone starts on Silver at no charge. Gold is earned, not bought: you reach it by collecting Keys, the loyalty currency you earn on your bookings, over a rolling period shown in the app. The Clef is our highest tier and is offered by invitation only. Tier benefits and any pricing are shown in the app and may change from time to time; we will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase or material reduction in the benefits of a paid tier or the Pass takes effect.
The Sommet Pass is not a tier. It is a per-stay purchase that unlocks Gold benefits for a single stay for your household, priced per day up to a per-stay cap shown before you buy. It does not renew and it does not change your earned tier: your tier stays Silver, and Gold status is still earned with Keys. The Clef is arranged personally when you are invited, on the terms we show you at that point; there is no self-serve Clef subscription.
If you buy the Pass as a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from that purchase. The Pass is sold by Sommet, not by a Vendor, and it is not a service to be supplied on a specific date or during a specific period of performance, so the date-specific exemption described in the cancellations section for Vendor services does not reach it. What governs the Pass instead is the full-performance rule: because the Pass gives you Gold benefits immediately, by buying it you ask us to start it straight away, and you may lose the right to withdraw once the stay it covers has been fully enjoyed. If you withdraw before then, we refund what you paid less an amount in proportion to what has already been supplied to you, measured against the total price of the Pass. Nothing here removes any stronger cancellation right your local consumer law gives you.
How a booking works
You submit a request through the Platform, specifying the details the Vendor needs. The Vendor will confirm, propose a price or time (a quote), or decline, ordinarily within the timeframe shown in the app for that category. For a category that requires payment, you are charged when you accept the Vendor's confirmed price. On a Vendor booking, any charge, and any short-lived card authorisation used to secure it, is taken on the named Vendor's behalf and settled to the Vendor's own payment account, because the Vendor is the merchant of record for that booking; it is never a sale by Sommet. The one thing Sommet sells you directly is the Sommet Pass, which works differently and is described under payment and fees below. If the Vendor declines, does not respond within the stated window, or you do not accept the quote, you are not charged and any authorisation taken to hold the booking is released. For dining you are not charged through the Platform at all: you pay the restaurant directly.
Payment and fees
We accept the payment methods shown in the app, processed by our payment provider, Stripe. By making a booking you authorise us to instruct Stripe, on the relevant Vendor's behalf, to charge your payment method as described above. Depending on the category, a platform fee is either added to the Vendor's price and shown to you before you confirm, or not charged to you at all (for dining, your reservation is free to you and no Sommet fee or card hold is taken). Current fees are shown before you confirm; nothing here lets us add an undisclosed fee after you have confirmed. All amounts are shown inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. If a payment is declined, disputed or charged back, we may pause further bookings until it is resolved.
The Sommet Pass is the one thing Sommet sells you directly. For the Pass, Sommet is the seller and the merchant of record: the charge is taken on Sommet's own payment account rather than any Vendor's, and it appears on your statement with the suffix GUEST PASS. We issue the receipt for the Pass, and any refund of it comes from us. Because the Pass is our own supply, its price (charged per day up to a per-stay cap, both shown before you buy) is a Sommet supply for VAT purposes, separate from the Vendor supplies you book through the Platform.
Cancellations, no-shows and refunds
Each category has its own cancellation and no-show policy, shown before you confirm. In summary:
- Dining: your reservation is free and no card charge or hold is taken, so there is nothing to refund. Please cancel in the app if your plans change so the restaurant can release the table.
- Transfers: the cancellation policy and any late-cancellation fee are shown at booking, because a vehicle and driver may already be committed.
- Boat charter, watersports and outdoor experiences: if your booking is cancelled by the operator, the port authority, or otherwise for weather or safety, you have a full right to a refund. We offer this as instant credit to your Sommet wallet or a card refund within ten days, whichever you prefer, and we will offer you the option to reschedule or choose an alternative first. The choice, including a full cash refund, is always yours.
- Spa, wellness and other single-service bookings: cancellation terms are shown at booking and are generally more flexible the further ahead you cancel.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded by agreement, including any right of withdrawal you may have as a consumer in the EU. Some services (for example, a booking for a specific date or period, such as a transfer, table or charter) may be exempt from the standard 14-day withdrawal right under EU consumer law; where an exemption applies, it is noted before you confirm.
Vendor responsibility and licensing
Vendors are independent businesses, not Sommet employees or agents. Each Vendor is responsible for holding every licence, permit, certificate and insurance policy its service legally requires, and for the safety and lawfulness of the service it supplies. We carry out an onboarding and periodic compliance check on Vendors in regulated categories, but this does not make Sommet the supplier, operator or licence-holder for any Vendor's service. Before you confirm any booking, we show you which Vendor you are contracting with, including the Vendor's business name and how to contact them, so you can exercise your consumer rights directly against the business responsible, and we will help you do so.
Your account and conduct
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure, and you are responsible for activity on your account. The service is for adults; you must be at least 18 and old enough to enter a contract where you live. You agree to attend confirmed bookings or cancel them within the stated window, to treat Vendors and staff respectfully, and not to use the Platform unlawfully. We may suspend or close your account for repeated no-shows, abusive conduct, fraud or any material breach of these terms.
Wallet, Keys and feedback
Your Sommet wallet holds credit from refunds, tips and cashback that you can spend on offers in the app. Wallet credit is not cash and is not withdrawable, and real-money top-ups are off during the (Anti)Paros beta. Keys are our loyalty currency. You earn them on every booking and on good behaviour we recognise in the app, such as completing your profile, leaving post-stay feedback or referring a member who joins and books. The Keys you earn in a rolling 12-month window set your membership tier, and a separate spendable balance can be used to waive Sommet's booking fee; spending Keys never lowers your tier, and any unspent balance expires 24 months after you earn it. After a booking we may ask you and the Vendor for feedback; we do not publish, or show other Vendors, any cross-Vendor reputation score about you, and we do not intend to build one. We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
Intellectual property
The Platform, our brand and our content are owned by Sommet or our licensors. You may use the Platform for your own personal, non-commercial use to browse and book Vendor services. You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell access to the Platform.
Liability
Because each Vendor is the principal and merchant of record for its own service, Sommet is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality, safety or lawfulness of any Vendor's service, except to the extent a claim arises from our own negligence or breach of these terms in operating the Platform. We do our best to keep the Platform available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for our own breach or negligence in operating the Platform is limited, but nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Greek, EU or other applicable mandatory consumer-protection law. This does not limit any Vendor's own liability to you for its service.
Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong with a Vendor's service, tell us first through the app; we will help mediate with the Vendor, even though the Vendor is legally responsible for the service. If we cannot resolve a complaint about the Platform with you directly and you are a consumer, you may refer the dispute, free of charge, to the alternative dispute resolution body competent for us: the Hellenic Consumer's Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή), www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr. If you are a consumer outside Greece, your own country may have its own approved body you can use instead; tell us and we will point you to it. (The EU's central Online Dispute Resolution platform that this section previously linked to closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.)
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rule of your own place of residence that applies regardless of the choice of law, and to your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence under mandatory consumer law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will note the date of the latest version above. We will tell you about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, other than changes required by law or that are wholly in your favour.
